This book is well worth your time as a reader. I highly recommend it.The story surrounding the author's innovative Simple Rhythm Putter is fascinating on several levels and it's a fun read for any serious or casual golfer. In addition to telling a good story, the book makes a compelling, common sense argument that the game of golf can be more sustainable and better off if the rules makers are more tolerant of reasonable innovation and progress intended to keep more people playing and enjoying a game that, in many ways, is in trouble (especially at the amatuer and club level). Where an innovation permits a golfer to have fun again by overcoming physical or mental limitations that might otherwise cause them to walk away -- that innovation should generally, presumptively be embraced rather than cast aside. This is doubly true where, as here, the innovation has already been permitted fo years, flourished and has clearly helped so many golfers have more enjoyment for so long. Of course, lines must be drawn and the author does not dispute that -- but he does effectively question the deeply flawed thinking that underlies the USGA's recent decision on the long putter and why that type of thinking is not in golf's best interests. I enjoyed the book, agree with the author's arguments and urge anyone looking for a good golf read to buy this book!

This book caught my attention from the get go! If you are a golfer or not, it tells the story of the struggles one goes through in trying to maintain staying in the game when you struggle with an ailment, whether it is the
" Yips", or otherwise. There was a road to a solution, and help for others to enjoy the game of golf one again. The unfortunate demise of a dream, that could have been! The future of making the long putter a viable solution for many players was shot down by the USGA..What a shame...A must read book!!
I found it fascinating to read the history of the development of this putter.
I have seen first hand the positive results that this putter produces. This really works! This is not a case that it "might" work, or "it works sometimes" or it worked for "one" person, it works EVERY time. Thus, I believe its story is worth 5 stars.
Don't take my word for it. Read the story. Then make arrangements with the author to try it. It WILL work.
This putter should bring lasting joy to those who suffer from the yips.
